Rawalpindi Initiates Vaccination Campaign to Combat Cervical Cancer

Rawalpindi has rolled out a targeted vaccination drive to protect young women against cervical cancer, a preventable disease linked to the human papillomavirus (HPV). The initiative, spearheaded by the District Health Authority, aims to vaccinate over 50,000 girls aged 9–14 years across the district, prioritizing schools and local health centers for vaccine administration.
